Our love of all things Golden began in 2008 with our boy Max. He came to us unexpectedly on a visit to a friend, but once we met him, there was no letting him go! Having no plan to come home with a puppy, there he was, in my lap ready to roll! He became a much loved and adored member of our family and we decided he was so incredibly perfect that we needed to continue his bloodline. So, in 2015, we searched for several months and interviewed a multitude of breeders in the area until we found the perfect match for our boy, Sophie. When selecting Max’s perfect partner, we looked not only for confirmation and color, but also temperament and quality of breeder. And of course, full OFA testing was a must! Sophie and Max had 8 beautiful pups and the story continues...

We had the pleasure of being the host home for Sophie and her new litter. Many years ago we bred Labrador Retrievers, so this was old hat for us, but these little golden babies stole our hearts! Our focus on raising our new golden puppies was to produce healthy, loved, well adjusted puppies trained for the home so that their adjustment to their new owners would be a wonderful experience for both the new owner and our baby. I cried when every puppy left my home! But there was one very special puppy that we could not part with! This brought us the next love of our lives, Ellie! She is our beautiful female who is not only incredibly loving and sweet, but also amazingly smart and athletic! Just take a look at her videos! Even though we could not keep all of our puppies, we still keep in touch with them. Every year we reach out for birthday pictures and have gotten 100% response from all my families! Our pups are very loved and that makes us very happy!

This is why we are small private breeders. We don’t strive to have a multitude of litters a year, we focus on working with high quality breeders in our area to produce one litter at a time so each puppy can be loved and focused on with all the attention each puppy deserves. Extensive OFA and genetic testing is also a major part of our process as well. We do EVERYTHING possible to ensure the health and long term success of our puppies. Our pups are in our home with us, never outside in a cage! We socialize them early with family and very close friends so each puppy is ready to go to their new home eager and excited for their new adventure! We are also very selective about the families that our puppies join. We get to know each family so we can understand what the family is looking for in a puppy. Not all families are up for the attention, grooming, cost and affection required for these golden babies. But for those families that are, there is no comparison to the love of a Golden! Whichever golden baby you select, you are in for a treat in adding one of our special puppies to your family!
